Christie Lynn Caputo is an American photographer based in Rome, Italy whose work explores the relationship between place, culture, and the natural world. She earned a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2013 and has since developed an internationally exhibited practice alongside a full-time freelance career. Having lived and worked across the United States before relocating abroad, her perspective is shaped by both mobility and rootedness.

Influenced by sociocultural anthropology and the freedom she finds in nature, Christie approaches photography as an observational and intuitive process—one that attends to environment, human presence, and the subtleties of lived experience. Alongside her artistic practice, she has collaborated with a range of cultural and commercial partners, while continuing to exhibit work internationally.
